These are just some of the many Essiac testimonials that we have received over the past two decades. We do not solicit testimonials so these are people who just wanted to share their Essiac success stories on their own.

Testimonial sent to Ingri Cassel on 12/3/2024:
My husband was diagnosed with GBM or Glioblastoma Multiforme brain cancer on May 15th 2023. The Doctors said my Husband only had 2 to 6 months to live and to go home and get everything in order. We were devastated. So, 4 days later, he had brain surgery following radiation and chemo by pill for the 5 weeks they suggested. The Doctors also said not to take anything other than what they prescribed. But I didn’t agree!
So, I called Ingri and talked to her about using the Essiac Tea in which she sent me a year’s worth. I started giving it to him as soon as it came — in just a couple of days. Ingri got it in the mail that same day that I called. God Bless Her!
When he had his 4th MRI in January 2024, the Doctors saw a shadow or something but, wasn’t sure if it was back so they had him do the MRI for the next 2 months making sure it didn’t move or grow. At this time, it was 9 months from his diagnosis. I’m scared because MRIs cause cancer so I wasn’t impressed with him having them at all, but he did the MRIs anyway.
On June 2024, still drinking the Essiac Tea, the shadow started disappearing. Then the last MRI on October 21st 2024 showed there is no sign of cancer. I believe that God steered me to Ingri and with Essiac Tea it cleared his cancer.
It is now been 18 months which is amazing for a person that only had 6 months to live. We are both continuing to drink the Essiac Tea. I wouldn’t be without it. Just to be clear, MRIs, Radiation and Chemo cause cancer; they do not heal. Please do your research before following Doctor’s protocols.

“My Husband is 65 years old…He we was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer on Jan. 08. There is a story here and I could write a novel, but think it more beneficial to just stick to a summary of what happened and what we did to get past the horrors of cancer.
He had a surgery and 1/4-1/2 of his right lung was removed…They had to break several ribs to do this…a sample was sent to pathology and the report came back to us telling us it was indeed cancer.
He was scheduled for chemo and after 6 mo. of insidious treatment was pretty much a vegetable…I have studied alternative health for 30 years so you can imagine the trauma it was to watch and be a part of something so insidious…3 weeks after the last chemo treatment, still another PET scan showed he had 5-6 new tumors in his the same lung…devastation was overwhelming.
They told him all they could offer him was more chemo, but he was in such a frightening state of negative health by then he said no..(actually he said Hell no)…They told him to get his affairs in order and sent him home to die…
When all of this started I was too horrified and busy to do any research other than what I had previously known…When it comes to “helping” someone in this field I have found not many are receptive to “Natural health care or cures”.
Anyway I read of a 4 herb tea that had what I thought was a really good record…I bought a pound of essiac and started my Husband on it 2 oz twice a day…we went from eating any and all kids of animal protein to a completely “plant based diet” without exception”.
I cannot remember for sure the month (maybe may 09 ) that I called with tears of joy to tell her My Husband’s results from a recent test “there is no detectable cancer” in his body…since then he has had other examinations that agreed with these findings.

I brought this for my kitty. He’s had these cysts (according to the vet)on his rear leg for the past 4 years, but they seemed to be growing. Nothing had helped.
After being on your essiac tea within just 5 days the cysts had almost completely disappeared.
It’s now been 11 days I can no longer feel them at all. Plus he had been getting very finicky about eating or even finishing his food. Within a few days of just 1TB a day of your essiac in his food and his appetite is back and he’s finishing his food and looking for more.
He also seems to have more energy and is more playful and active. Wow! So impressed as to what the added sorrel roots can do. Had tried other essiac without it and there was no positive change. He’s around 14 years old.

Just got this order but I have ordered many times before for others. The other person I ordered for told me amazing things like when he first started to drink it he would cough out a large amount of stuff from his lungs every morning until one day it was clear (he had lung cancer and 2 other places).
He said after awhile it felt like there was nothing wrong with his lungs and the dr told him that they didn’t know why his cancer stopped. He said it wasn’t only his lungs that improved, he could walk for miles and started hunting again in his 80’s because his knees improved so much and he even climbed up in his tree stand. I’m hoping it will have amazing results on this person as well.

I am using this tea to help fight a second breast cancer diagnosis as well as a tumor found in my rt kidney that the dr feels is suspicious for renal cell carcinoma ( which I am totally NOT believing to be true).

Essiac tea saved my life. However, I never had cancer issues. I had difficulty breathing that doctors later diagnosed as asthma. Initially, I started out using over the counter inhalers but my condition worsened so I went to doctors who prescribed steroids and various inhalers.
This problem changed my life because I was a professional singer. It was so bad I could not sing even one song for seven years!
A friend had given me some Essiac tea herbs and told me to make some and drink it regularly. However, the tea sat on a shelf for about a year and a half before I finally made some.
Within three days I felt better. After two weeks on the tea I felt a lot better. Before drinking the tea I was using a very strong inhaler that I had to puff on several times a day.
However, as I continued drinking the tea I found that I didn’t have to use the inhaler so much until I finally got off the inhaler. I could now sing again!
I then got on the internet to search the side effects of the inhaler I was using. I was shocked to find that one of the adverse side effects was “difficulty breathing”! In other words, the inhalers were actually making my “asthma” much worse. I observed that sometimes people heal their cancer with Essiac so they discontinue using it and the cancer can come back again. So they get back on the tea and the cancer disappears for the second time.

I mixed up one quart of the tea but after starting with 1/2 ounce the first day, I went too quickly to 1 ounce, then 1.5 and had some indigestion and had to back off as all the essiac tea sites say, and I believe Rene said herself. We are including the documented successful Essiac treatments by Rene Caisse herself in her Cancer Clinic in Bracebridge, Ontario to confirm the efficacy of Essiac for cancer patients.
Due to the false claims on the internet that there is “no documented evidence” of Essiac being effective against cancer, it is important to reveal the actual evidence documented by Rene Caisse herself and the doctors who witnessed these dramatic cancer cures.
These false claims about Essiac being “ineffective” obviously come from vested interests such as the pharmaceutical industry, mainstream medicine, Wikipedia, etc, that depend on billions of dollars for their existence. TESTIMONIAL AND PETITION OF EIGHT DOCTORS
Rene Caisse stated: “On the strength of what those doctors saw with their own eyes, eight of them signed a petition to the Department of National Health and Welfare at Ottawa, asking that I be given facilities to do independent research on my discovery. Their petition, dated at Toronto on October 27, 1926, read as follows:”
“To Whom It May Concern:
“We the undersigned believe that the ‘Treatment for Cancer’ given by Nurse R.M. Caisse can do no harm and that it relieves pain, will reduce the enlargement and will prolong life in hopeless cases. BREAST CANCER
Mrs. Roy Coutts, Age 49
August 1936: cancer of the right breast, hard nodular mass the size of a large apple, diagnosis confirmed by Dr Fraser Greig.
19 August, 1936: first treatment at the Bracebridge Clinic, followed by five separate treatments. The growth had disappeared entirely after the sixth treatment.
21 November, 1936: final treatment at Bracebridge Clinic.
Rene Caisse:
“I took this patient for Dr Greig, to give six treatments to localise the growth…Dr Greig intended to operate and [then] allow me to give six more treatments to prevent a recurrence.” [3]

MULTIPLE TUMOURS, BREAST, UTERUS, STOMACH
Mrs. May Henderson, Age 41 years, 10 Chicora Drive, Toronto
Physicians: Dr. Diack and Dr. Barclay, Women’s College Street Hospital, Toronto; Dr. J.A. McInnis, Timmins, Ontario.
Diagnosis: fibrous tumour in breast and side, also large uterine tumour–Dr. McInnis considered it malignant.
Remarks: patient had goitre operation but no other operation or treatment. When patient came to Miss Caisse, she was run-down, weak, muddy-like colour of skin and having great loss at menstruation time with haemorrhaging. Weight was 115 lb.
First treatment by ‘Essiac’, 10 April 1937.
24 April 1937: patient’s weight 118 lb, looking and feeling better.
9 May 1937: patient had haemorrhage at menstruation time.
19 July 1937: patient feeling improved, is working every day.
October 1938: patient feeling very well and working every day, growths almost entirely disappeared. Has had no other treatment except ‘Essiac’.
On October 18, 1938 Mrs. Henderson wrote to Rene Caisse at her Cancer Clinic in Bracebridge, Ontario. Her letter detailed her long history of “bad health” and closed with the following words:
“And now for the happy ending: The growths have almost entirely disappeared, I have gained ten pounds and I feel fine. I go to work every day in a very busy office, where the staff are unaware that there is a thing the matter with me.
“Hours are from 8:30 to 5:30 and I get pretty tired at times, especially when, as at the end of the month, I work an evening or two. Then on Sunday there is the long trip to Bracebridge and back. If only I could rest on Sundays I feel sure I would make even better progress.
“I am, however, deeply grateful for the treatments and feel that I can never repay in money what they are worth to me. You have given me back my life, Miss Caisse, but what means even more to me, I can confidently look forward to perfect health so I shall enjoy living.
“I think I have made it clear from the foregoing how utterly futile operations would be in a case like mine. My earnest prayer every day is that this remedy may be made available to every one who needs it.”

“I take pleasure in giving you briefly a statement of my condition before and since taking treatment (8 so far) from Rene M. Caisse of Bracebridge.
“Intestinal trouble for years, the whole area from rectum to throat being affected. In September three years ago, I entered the Lockwood Clinic, Toronto. After X-ray and several consultations, they told me I had cancer of left kidney and, if not operated on, in six months it would be too late….”
“I told the osteopath who was treating me that I was discouraged and that this sack of bowel was emptying about every three to four weeks–mucus, orange-colored substance etc. He advised me to see Nurse Caisse of Bracebridge.
“After my first treatment this sack in bowel really did empty itself and had not refilled. I have also passed broken growth resembling pieces of sponge. Also just before my seventh treatment, I suffered great distress and soreness of the lower abdomen. I then passed a large, scab-like piece with much ropy colitis substance attached. There is a constant sloughing away of broken down tissues and ah, I am feeling so much better and have enjoyed this summer more than any in years. I am so happy to be feeling better and will certainly continue any treatments. I would do anything if other poor sufferers could have the help I believe Nurse Caisse could give them.”

February 23, 1932 letter to Rene Caisse:
Re: Mr. F. Maxwell, Beaverton, Ontario.
“We suspect that the above mentioned has malignant disease in his pancreas. He is not informed of this.”
“If Mr. F. Maxwell wishes to undertake your treatment, I would offer no objections to him doing so.
“Mr. Maxwell has suffered with loss of appetite, loss of twenty pounds in weight, in addition to extreme weakness. He is depressed in spells. He also suffers with a moderate degree of arthritis. During the past eighteen months he has had two slight Cerebral Hemorrhages.” — Signed: F.M. Smith
[Rene Caisse started treating Mr. Maxwell in February 1932.]
March 30, 1932 letter to Rene Caisse:
“Mr. F. Maxwell came to my office Sunday last. Frankly I was delighted to see such a marked improvement in his general health. He has gained seven and a half pounds, his hemoglobin estimate ninety percent. He moves with a great deal more vigor and mentally he is very much brighter and alert.”
Remarks by Rene Caisse
“Mr. Maxwell came to me too weak to walk, had to be carried into my office, had lost the use of his arms for over a year. I started to treat him in February 1932….”
“Patient had the use of his arms after five treatments, could walk upstairs alone after seven treatments, continued to gain weight and health and is still well as his brother stated to the Minister of Health.” [6]

Excerpt from the article “Cancer” by B.L. Guyatt, M.D.
“During the past three years it has been my privilege to observe in the Caisse clinic at Bracebridge, Ontario, the work of Nurse Caisse whose enthusiasm, endurance and optimism has been an inspiration to me. Miss Caisse has worked chiefly unaided, but has received much encouragement from those who have observed results, and been greatly inspired by those patients who have responded to treatment.
“The first most noticeable response observed in this Caisse Clinic waiting room is the cheerfulness and optimism of treated patients. This fascinated me; the treatment received appeared to be attacking the disability from the angle which had greatly interested me. In most cases distorted countenances became normal and pain reduced as treatment proceeded.
“The relief from pain is a notable feature as pain in these cases is very difficult to control. On checking authentic cancer cases it was found that hemorrhage was readily brought under control in many difficult cases, open lesions of lip and breast responded to treatment, cancers of the cervix, rectum and bladder have been caused to disappear, and patients with cancer of the stomach diagnosed by reputable physicians and surgeons have returned to normal activity.
The number of patients treated in this clinic are many hundreds and the number responding wholly or in part I do not know, but I DO KNOW, that I have witnessed in this clinic a treatment which brings about restoration through destroying the tumour tissue, and supplying that something which improves the mental outlook on life, and facilitates re-establishment of physiological function.
It is my privilege to do all in my power to bring the cancer sufferer this remedy Essiac which has brought relief and restored health to many in the past.

Excerpts from Doctors Visiting Bracebridge Cancer Clinic, June 1, 1938
Dr. Emma M. Carson“
Dr. Emma M. Carson of Los Angeles who examined over four hundred patients at the Caisse Cancer Clinic at Bracebridge is quoted by the editor of the Huntsville Forrester as saying:
“My first surprise was to find her patients so cheerful. This is most unusual among cancer sufferers.”
When she was asked as to her impressions of the effectiveness of the Caisse treatment Dr. Carson became very entusiastic. She said:
“I am thoroughly convinced that Miss Caisse has cured cancer. I am satisfied of this by the actual results I have seen following the closest study of the cases I investigated. I am amazed beyond expression.
“Canada should be proud of her great achievement in medical science and the world should be given the opportunity of acknowledging her discovery as one of the most important in the modern history of medical discovery. If Miss Caisse’s great work is to be continually ignored by the Ontario Medical Council you may be assured that she would be welcomed across the border and her outstanding contribution to medical science would be promptly acknowledged.” [8]

Excerpts from “Cancer”, an article by Rene M. Caisse which appeared in Muskoka Herald, Bracebridge, Ontario on January 11, 1940.
“My treatment is mostly by hypodermic injection into the muscle and the treatment goes to the seat of the trouble no matter where it is whether internally or on the surface.”
“I have treated over 600 patients during one four day period with Essiac during the last four years at my Bracebridge clinic. Considering that the fact that I alone administer each treatment and keep my clinic open on Saturday, Sunday and Monday of each week you can appreciate the fact that I have about as much work as any ordinary individual can handle.”
“The work is most absorbing and one loses any sense of fatigue when one knows that one’s labor is being appreciated and one is succeeding. I take a great delight in the cheerful and hopeful atmostphere of the anteroom which is often crowded. There is no gloom nor pessimism here.
“Most of these people are poor and a great number have been given up by their Doctors as hopeless before they see me. At times I am barely able to finance my clinic as many have barely enough to pay their expenses to and from Bracebridge and it is heartbreaking to learn that many have to discontinue treatments on account of poverty.
“I of course do not and cannot make any charge but the free donations I recive have enabled me so far to keep open and I trust I will be able to carry on until the world recognizes my discovery as a beneficial treatment for cancer. I do not say it is a cure. There is no medicine that can cure under certain complicated circumstances and most the cases are those where medical science say there is no hope of recovery.
“I can truthfully say however, that I have cured a great many people of cancer and have positive proof of same.
“I can also truthfully say that I have in many cases been able to stay the disease and in many really bad cases prolong life, and in practically all cases alleviate the pain and suffering so that the patient is not compelled to resort to opiates or narcotics in increasing doses as is usually the case.
“If I had not accomplished more than this I think I deserve the recognition of the medical world as a distinct step ahead in the treatment of cancer.” [9]

* BUYER BEWARE! Most Essiac companies and herb suppliers are now obtaining Sheep Sorrel leaf from Bulgaria and Croatia and it is dead plant material and not even green! Therefore, most of the Essiac sold in the US now has little medicinal value for cancer patients. We are concerned that this may eventually give quality Essiac Tea an undeserved reputation for being ineffective against cancer. This may also give false hope for cancer patients.
This is why we place so much attention on how we grow our certified organic herbs and the extra effort and care we place on quality, even though our Essiac Tea Herbs cost significantly more than other Essiac tea providers. As the old adage goes: “You get what you pay for.” *
